My little man Oreo has been doing this every so often, but is getting worse (well for the past two days)...
Oreo has been sounding like he's sort of gagging, but you can tell that he can't breathe. I noticed it happens when he gets overly excited. I thought about collapse trachea, but I'm not even sure what those symptoms are.
The past two days, his episodes lasted about 10 seconds..after I rubbed his throat, it stopped.. Can anyone give me some advice? Anyone experience this with furbabes?

Both my girls do this when excited or sometimes after a drink...If you gently hold their nostrils and force them to breath through their mouths it usually stops - I gently put my fingers on their little nostrils - for approx 3 seconds...release...three seconds...release...till they stop gasping... and it really works ...if your baby really keeps doing this with frequency - I would DEF take him to the vet and they can check his trachea...It's really a scary sound isn't it ?
