There's only one way to test a dog for rabies and it's not good. It's also not fair to the dog especially if you are going to be treated anyway. Chances are, if it had rabies, it would have shown up by now. I'm so sorry this has happened to you. I hope you are ok and I really hope they change their mind about taking the puppy.
