Okay, I've done a search on this and I haven't found what I am looking for exactly... I know that some of you here sew d rings onto your dresses and harnesses. My question is this: How exactly do you sew them on there? My machine is pretty standard, it's a singer simple, from walmart, about 100 bucks. Okay, when I try to sew on the d rings, the needle will inevitably hit the ring, and then the needle breaks. After four d rings, three broken needles and one piece of a needle partially imbedded in my arm, I am at my wit's end. I want to put the d rings on Summerlin's clothes, so that she does not have to wear a harness also, but I'm getting a little frustrated. Can any of you sewers out there give me some advice? I would appreciate it greatly!
