I don't know the answer, but I have a TERRIBLE allergy to cats and milder allergy to dogs. Shelties, Collies and the like might as well be cats. Labs and Goldens still make me itch and sneeze. Shih-tzu's and Yorkies don't bother me as long as they stay clean. So I don't know if it's the fact that I give my Yorkies a bath once a week or so or if it's because they don't shed. I can also say that my trainer's labs do not bother me as much as any other random lab, because they are fed great food and they are clean. I still can't stick my face in their fur like I can with my Yorkies though. I can hardly visit a house with shedding dogs, but I can let my monsters sleep in my bed. I'm also curious to know why! |
