When you guys say litter box, is it the actual box? With roof and everything?

I bought something that's for puppies but it looks like just the bottom half. More like a big plastic container tray with a little lowered opening.

Anyways, I have another problem that I hope you guys can help me with....

I use wee wee pads and Sammie is 100% potty trained. BUT many times, he'll put his two front feet on the pad and pees....well then the pee misses and it is wet all around the wee wee pad. Obviously he doesn't know what he is doing wrong so I don't punish him. Are there any tricks to make him touch ALL fours on the wee wee pad so he never misses?

I tried with the litter box and still, same thing...he places two front paws in the box with his rear side sticking out

PLEASE HELP!
