I would be concerned about the weight of a the type of dog your husband wants.Yorkies have very tiny and fragile bones and some of the larger dogs

Thanks for your advice but the main reason my husband is wanting a Pit Bull is because he knows I don't like them and he doesn't want me to get a Yorkie so he figured this was the way to take care of that.
