I don't know about "dander" but they can get "dandruff".
Some yorkies are very sensitive to certain foods and can have allergies which cause dandruff. If they have dandruff you'll see these little white flakes that seem to get all over there fur when you brush them. Jaden used to have Dandruff but since switching his food to one without corn in it he's doing wonderful!
