I dont know much about pitbulls......but i would try and talk him into another breed
maybe a boxer?
We have a yorkie and a german shepherd and they are total lovers.
Especially if you raise them together as puppies they will bond instantly.
Why not ask him if there is any other breed at all he would like and then really talk that breed up to him and even look up breeders in the area
