IMO If you got them both as pups and trained them I think A pit can be a gental as any other dog. make sure that you get from a breeder who breeds for a sound sweet dog and I think it would be ok I havd a golden retiver and the bigest problem I have is my male Yorkie wants to boss her around and guess what she does..... she just looks at him and walks off.

If brought up right a pit can be good and sweet.
