I'm sure our yard is full if it right now as we have lots of water in low lying spots from the snow melting and the rain we had last week. We also live in area with tons of seagulls and Canadian geese and they poop everywhere!! So between them and the other birds who are carriers, they can basically step on spores just about everywhere we go, including just walking on a leash on our sidewalks.
I'm keeping baby wipes just inside the back door now and everytime they go out to potty, their little feet and bums will get wiped. Other than re-training Sissy to use wee-wee pads, I'm at a loss as to what else I can do to possibly prevent her from getting this again. She is just so pityful looking, you can tell she doesn't feel well. |
Aww the poor baby. I hear ya i don't know how you can prevent it in your area and also i don't know how to decontaminate a yard after is already there. this is my problem to because there were 4 days before we knew Daisy had it so my yard is probably contaminated to. That is the same medicine they put Daisy on 2X's a day for 14 days. Becareful of the dosage that is also the medicine that almost killed Daisy because of the wrong dosage. I hope she gets feelong better soon. we send lots of hugs and kisses,
