Yep, just ask them to trim her nails while she's under. Harleys are actually going to have to be cut past the quick which would normally be very painful but since he will be under anesthesia he won't feel anything. They said his toes will be tender afterwards but he will be alright. The vet looked at his toenails a few days ago and said that he has an unusually long quick even for a dog w/ grown out nails. So when he's under they're going to cut them back pretty far. Then I'll let them grow a little bit and then start clipping the tips off bi-monthly.
