I don't allow either of mine to have either of those things and the protein percentage seems high for a yorkie, especially if he's eating it all in one serving (I don't feed mine anything over 28%). I think Merricks make some jerky strips that you might be interested in, you could also try giving him a bully stick and see if he liked them. My two love them and just one of them will last them days! |
My vet said bully sticks are as bad as pigs ears for dogs. They come from the slaughter houses and arent good for them. He says they carry too much bacteria. Im going to check out Merricks Jerky Treats. Thx.
