Slightly overcook rice or couscous the old fashion way in water in a pan on the stove. (No micro-waving)
While cooking, add shredded carrots and minced fish or meat. (chicken, beef, turkey)
When done, ad 1/2 teaspoon of Olive oil, let cool and ad a food supplement with minerals and vitamins (from either your vet or the pet store)
You can precook and freeze portions. Take them out of the freezer the night before and let thaw in the refrigerator.
For dogs and cats who only eat dry food if added wet food to it, ad Gerber's baby food to it.
For those of you who are too lazy to cook for your pets, give them fat free table scratches AFTER washing it off from salt and sauces.
Hope this nightmare will be over soon. |
I'm not too clear on this. With this recipe, they don't need kibble? What kind of food supplement is good, and can I microwave each portion to heat it up?
I'm way too lazy to remember to defrost for each meal. You can get precooked grilled chicken, so that's easy enough.
Thanks,
