Well, Sissy woke up at 4:00am and began vomiting. Although she had stopped vomiting by around 10:30, she wanted to do nothing but sleep. Since my vet is open till Saturday afternoon, I decided to take her in rather than have to use an ER vet later if she got worse.

They suggested a stool sample, so since we were already there I might as well. She is loaded with Giardia and she also has a bacterial overload. The vet said that the giardia is probably in her upper GI tract since she is vomiting, rather than the explosive bloody diarrhea she had last summer when she had it.

So, Angel will be treated as well and all the beds, blankets and toys are in the wash right now with bleach added. So, now to do the floors and all surrounding areas. I just hope we nip this right away!! Good thing I trusted my mommy instincts!!

The vet also said giardia is running rampant right now (at least in Michigan) as we have been so wet and didn't get as cold this year for any length of time so nothing got a chance to die out. Please have your babies checked if you suspect this. They can get really sick really fast!!

Oh no!! I am so sorry to hear this! It's a good thing you caught on to it so fast! I hope Sissy feels better soon and Angel is able to by pass all of this!
I'll be praying for your two little ones!
