If I'm not mistaken, Merricks was recalled about a year ago...we can get it in some of the stores around here.
I feed Verus. Kirby and Bernie are on the senior formula (Kirby because he's a senior, Bernie because the vet recommended it due to his injuries) and Ginger's on the Menhaden Fish Meal. I guess nothing is completely safe. Even human food gets contaminated from time to time. But, I'd stay away from anything that's produced in one of those huge facilities that makes lots of brands. JMO.
