My girls aren't real good about nail cutting...this is what I do....when I am giving them a bath I put water in the sink, just enough to cover their feet. I shampoo and rinse them...by the time I put the conditioner on their nails have had a chance to soak and soften...this way they don't make such a load "click"...I have found this makes it much easier to cut the nails and, where they are in the sink they can't get away! Sadie was HORRIBLE about nail cutting..once I started soaking her feet it made easier on her AND me.

I use a pin brush in the morning and at night when sitting I put some cowboy magic on the matts and use a slicker brush, I take small sections of hair and brush from the end in...I get alot of matts out this way.
