Sorry, I missed your response and see you signed off. I'm from Anchorage and own 2 Yorkies. I don't call them "babies" because I'm trying to keep the rugged, Alaskan image intact on this forum. Don't tell anyone that there are sissy Alaskans too!
Eddie will be 3 on May 5. We've had him since he was 10 weeks. Jack just turned 11. We got him as a 10-year-old rescue.
Talk to your apartment manager. If you have a lot of time to spend with a dog, and you anticipate that being the case for the next 15 years, a Yorkie would be a great pet for you.
