If it makes you feel any better, both of mine do this and I have never owned a dog that didn't do this. I find it completely disgusting!! I, too, am constantly cleaning the box but somehow, they still find a way. We have talked about putting a baby gate up so the dogs can't get into the bathroom but the cats can still jump over it. I am hoping that this will solve our problem. Good luck on finding your solution, too!
