With all the thefts lately and dangers from nature I wouldn't let any of mine outside alone...fence or no fence, big dog or no big dog. Even if a bird of prey couldn't lift your dog off of the ground just think of the damage it could do just by grabbing it with their talons or pecking it with their beak...not to mention dropping it from mid air if it couldn't take off. I've been bit by a large parrot...I can't imagine the damage a bite from a bird of prey could inflict. Just too much could happen and I would never forgive myself if I wasn't there to try and protect my boyz. |
