That dog weighed 13 pounds. The bird couldn't fly off with it but it did get it 30 feet (if I'm remembering right) off the ground before dropping it. Most of our yorkies would be small enough for birds of prey that are determined enough.
I've told this many times so to keep it short...A hawk flew down to take a closer look at Gus but luckily I was right there. They are silent and very FAST. Be careful!!
