People that feel fear like this sometimes also want the support of others. To have a person just post, "I don't have any answers for you, but your dog is in my thoughts."...well, maybe a person that is worried wants answers but also that reasurance. As much as we can through a computer, it is nice to comfort that person that is scared/worried. So yes, I see your point, but I think that when a person posts a question about their "fur baby", they want a personal answer. I hope I am making sense.
