I know it costs alot of money but we bought an automatic litter box just for that very reason...Reece loves to nibble in the litter box...but now when the cat is done his business...it scoops it right away...I LOVE IT!! I actually bought mine used and its perfect...search around you never know what you might find..this is the best solution I can offer..
