Shadow was leaping to my defense (THANK YOU!), as another poster (who shall remain nameless, as I guess he/she decided to delete their post soonafter) was accusing me of being cruel to my dog for putting him in shoes.
Even though the post is gone, I will say in my defense that I don't generally put Stitch in clothes unless I have a practical reason to. (Mostly because I don't have money to spend on them nor the patience to fuss about with getting him in and out of clothes.) He owns a raincoat and a fleece for bad weather.
I got the shoes because my vet has commented that his paws are still showing concrete burns (he was a rescue). We're also going on a long trip where he'll be in the country, and last time he literally stopped walking because he was getting burrs in his paws.
It sucks a little to explain myself, especially because I did A LOT of research on Yorkie talk to find the best shoes for him (which I think I did) - but thanks for jumping in there Shadow and Archie too, and thanks for everyone else's replies!
