I happen to know of a case where 3 puppies had died. So they sent off everything to be tested. Food, bowls, water, everything that they were in contact with. Came back that it was rat poison or cocaine. What they figure is that a mouse that had eaten rat poison had gotten ground up in it somewhere along the line.
