I agree with the other posts. If you find a yorkie that is 2 or 3 lbs you most likely will be asking for trouble. Although it is not the case for every dog that size don't bank on that you will be the one without the trouble. Dogs that size usually end up at the vets office several times before reaching 6 months of age. You have to continually watch because you could go out to the grocery store and come back home and your dog could be dead. Low blood sugar.

If you like dogs this size then why not get one that will be 4 lbs. Believe me there isn't that much of a difference. If you can handle 4 lbs, then you can handle 5 lbs.

Also when looking for a Yorkie look for people who do health testing. Liver Shunts, OFA at the min.
