As some of you know I've been having problems trying to figure out the shots my puppy was given by the breeder. Well, after some research I've figured out that she's had 2 out of 3 of her puppy shots, one at 6 weeks and the 2nd at 9 weeks. She's going in for her 12 week shot this weekend.
I've also figured out that the other item listed on her vet records that I thought was a shot is really just a dewormer (panacure intervet).
The 2 items I'm having trouble with are the following:
1) at 5 weeks she was given what is listed as "Neopar, neotech. LLC" which I think is a parvo vaccination. I just don't understand why this parvo vaccination was given separately and in addition to her puppy shots, which are Vanguard +5.
2) "Albon Pfizer" This was given to her at 8 weeks of age for a serious of 5 consecutive days (2/20 - 2/24). I've researched this but can't really find what it's for or why it would be given to a puppy for 5 consecutive days.
If any of you can help me out with these 2 things, I'd REALLY appreciate it. I want to fully understand Brooklyn's medical records before I go to the vet so I know exactly what they're going to do.
