I have to disagree with that, if someone really loves their pets in my opinion they would want them to live the longest healthiest lives possible and your best chance of this is to
spay/neuter your pets. Breeding your beloved pet does not mean you will get a carbon copy of your pet, in fact it is feasible that you would get all the worse qualities about them or their ancestors.
