i have an 8yo, 5yo, 4yo, 1.5yo, and a 8 month old. i have 2 4 month old yorkies. one is 4lb and the other is 6lbs. the 6 lb is hyper and really thinks hes the lick. he wants to play with everyone. my 1.5 yo won't have anything to do with him. but she loves the 4 lber and she won't have anything to do with her. both yorkies love the baby and i think they see that he is their size so they want to hang with him and he could careless and seems rather annoyed when they come around. i would love a tiny but i would be to afraid it would get trampled by all the little feet. they both do great with the older children but everyone loves Troy because shes so calm and loving. Walker just wants to play and is a little hyper for everyone even me. i think if the children are not alone with the dogs they should be fine. though my 1 yo is alone with mine and when they see her coming they usually hit the road. so you have to give the dog a little credit that they won't allow a little one to close. but with young puppies you have to more aware. |
