I agree with the previous post. But if you want to stay outdoors all day by all means take them along. I would recommend that you go earlier than later as far as dates go. Last year we went on the second Saturday of the festival and all the blossoms were gone. But the year before that it was spectacular!! Don't miss it. I hope we can go this year to see the fireworks and the blossoms.
