I was really worried when I got Haruka... thinking.. "hmmm I wonder how many times could I bring Haruka to work....?" She was also really tiny then.. so I was really worried about leaving her at home. At the same time, I really wanted her to be a therapy dog...
I haven't gotten any test for her to be licensed as a therapy dog. BUt she is definitely a best working girl at work. Many of my colleagues stop by in their 5 minutes break... or when they have rough time. I bring her with me when I meet with my participants ... when they are crying or/and having really rough time, Haruka is there for her. (I work for a domestic violence agency.) I guess she has better counseling and active listening skills than I do
