You've got a good suggestion there! I have an aviary and if a bird gets out and it's late, I turn the lights very low and catch them easily because they can't see much in the dark. Problem is, the little guy will probably nest down somewhere for the night and you'll not know where that might be.
How are your dogs acting with a bird in the house? Maddie always wants to kill mine! LOL
