I really don't see any cons on spaying her. But the cons on not spaying her include her developing cancer, or an infection and other problems.
I had a dog that we didn't spay. She was around 11 years old and her bleeding was heavy like your girl's. We took her to the vet and they said she had to be spayed immediately. They took out her uterus, it was twice the size it normally should have been!! We saved her just in time but because we waited so long, even though they spayed her, she ended up with other health problems because she was not spayed early on like she should have been.
The pros outweigh the cons in spaying her. She will be much happier and has a better chance at a healthy life. JMO |
