I don't live in Canada but am Canadian born.....from what I understand most people in Canada are against this practice.

I really thought they had stopped it finally & was really sorry to see this post today. It reminds me so much of the Fur Trade. There really is no reason for these seals to die in such horrible ways...for what - their pelt ?
I wish people would wake up and see what vanity costs these poor animals
