What I did was, I measured 2 potty pads & placed them next to each other. You'll want it large enough for them to pace, just like they do on their pads now. I actually ordered 2 on line that were 2 small & they won't use. Max will use them sometimes. Mostly for hiding toys & food. A small childs tent works great. I just wish it wasn't so tall. Also check the stepping into area, some are 2 high, they didn't like that also. I got mine last year at Target for $20.
