Hang on -- they will be just fine.....and you will survive too.

Archie and Willie were neutered last week. Dropped them off at 7:30 AM and picked them up at 12:30. They were pretty much out of it the rest of that day and part of the next day. By the following evening it was as if nothing had ever happened. And I could finally breathe.

They came home with the cones. Those came off by the next day. Archie had already figured out how to get his off when he was supposed to keep it on to protect his eye injury. Tried the infant onesies --- they wiggled out of those also. Then just kept a close eye on them and corrected them when they started licking the stitches. After the second day, they had lost interest.

They did need the pain meds the first 24 hours, but not after that.

Your little ones will be just fine, happier in the long run ---and you are doing the best for them.
