I had plans today but canceled so I could stay close to him.I try to be so careful not to let this kind of thing happen but yesterday I was cleaning out my fridge and my little girl got the candy without me knowing. I have always told her how sick it could make Dusty but yestersay she saw for herself and she seen how scared I was so I think she really understands now.
You know, that was always the one thing I drilled into our kids back when we had our toy poodle when they were real young. No chocolate... ever! But we do all understand that accidents happen. I certainly don't freak out when I drop a cocoa puff or two on the floor and Tatum gets to it before me. A few months ago she did manage to steal a quarter of a Hershey bar when I had to jump up and leave the room for something real quick. She did get a little upset tummy but was okay. Read up on which chocolates are the most dangerous and at what quantities any chocolate is dangerous and you'll do okay! Glad the little one is feeling better!
