I'm going to add my opinions and practice here and mine you these are just my feelings.

It just makes me think of Sears & Roebuck Catalog shopping. You order a puppy, fill the order and off it goes....they are living breathing lil creatures, that I brought into the world, and my responsibility. I wouldn't send a 6 month old child in cargo, why would I do it to my puppy....It's my experience if someone wants the puppy bad enough they'll come to get it, just confirming that the family is the right one for my puppy. And I prefer meeting families face to face. Again it's just my way of doing things and everyone does them differently for different reasons.....
