I took Cali to a different breeder today, I had used her a couple of times but she is expensive, since my Mom's illness and passing I have been lax in brushing her daily and she got a little matted and looked a mess. SO the groomer cleaned her up and trimed her up some and when I went to pick her up she asked if I had noticed Cali's urine was sticky and stinky. She also has been walking around a little hunched. I said I did notice one of the 2 yorkies had real yellow pee and it looked thick. So I called my vet at 3 and they told me they wanted to see her today so I took her in at 5 and they did a urine test and she has an infection. So she is on medicine. We also decided to do a blood panel given Cali's history of liver and kidney problems. The doctor just called me and said her bloodwork was excellent. So that was great news!!!
