I just had the same thing happen to Snickers 2 weeks ago! His black puppy hair was getting pretty long and shaggy so I took him in for a "puppy cut". His hair on his body and legs were left, at most, a 1/2" long! I about cried.
And I swear his legs grew 6 inches! It is growing back fast though not fast enough.
