I was the same way with my first 2....I cried when I dropped them off! They were only 6 months old and one was just under 3 lbs! But I trusted my vet and they pulled out just fine!
Expect them to be very sleepy! I slept on the floor with them the first 2 nights. Some recommend putting onesies on them so they cannot lick the incision but I didn't have that problem. Ask for pain meds just in case.
They are very strong, don't worry mom!
