I have male and female. I am so glad I did it this way. They both have different personalities that make them each special.
TJ is more alpha over Roxy. That's the only thing that I hate. Roxy is very shy, but she was like that from the day I got her. TJ and Roxy came from the same breeder. They have the same father, but different mothers. Roxy is actually 2 months older than TJ.
TJ was neutered at 7 months. He marks outside only. But so does Roxy, she is actually a MAD MARKER hahahaha
I did catch TJ trying to do 'the bad thing' to Roxy. Just a couple of times, but I think that was him telling her that he is the boss of the house hahahaha
But they each would be lost without the other one. For instance...Roxy had to have LP surgery 2x last year. Each time, she was overnight at the hospital for 3 days. Well, TJ was soooooooooooooo sad, that he went on a POOP STRIKE. Seriously, NO POOP for 3 days. I had to make an appt. for an enima if he didn't go by the 4th day. When I brought Roxy home that 3rd night, he was soooooooooooooo happy to see her and within 10 mins. of kissing her and smelling to make sure she was ok, he pooped - thank goodness, b/c I really didn't want him to get an enima!
