Here are the Dimensions: 16" long, 9" deep, 5 1/2 wide. I would say it is plenty big enough but a little on the narrow side. My Petflys carrier is 8 inches wide with the other two dimensions the same. My Ben (just a tad shy of 3 lbs) has scads of room in it, but Sadie my tall girl (5 lbs) seems to have to sit or lie down to be comfortable in it. My concern would be the sturdiness of the sides. Do you have a Petsmart close enough that you could try to see it in person?
