i use those same clips on maggie because they come in so many different colors.
i think you should do what you want with your baby boy. if you like those clips, go for it. if you want to cut his hair short, go for it
i dont' keep maggie "standard" her hair is long on her head and body but I keep her muzzle short. just my preference right now. do what you like. as long as your pup is loved, happy, healthy, and safe, it doesn't matter how his hair is combed
