I have been going through this with Gracie for over a year. She gets horriable break outs ( and even infections as a result). My vet said we could do the allergy testing but she is on hypoallergenic food anyway (Venison and Potato) so all that would do is prove that she is allergic to enviromental allergens and really besides removing all the carpet in my house (we only have it in my basment) and never let her outside what can we do. We use Temaril during the early spring and the fall (When the allergens are the highest) and the medicated bath 2-3 times a week to try to manage...... I know that this is going to be this way for her whole life, the poor thing
