Hi, I joined to ask about a problem we've been having. Our yorkie, Barkley, has been getting older and older. He's now at the point where I feel he's suffering. We're contacting the vet in the morning, but I also decided to post here.

The main problems are: he can't keep his food down, he's vomiting, "coughing", and he's making grunting noises. My girlfriend's dad suggested that it could be a blockage of some sort, but we weren't able to find a remedy online yet. Our neighbor said yorkie's esophaguses are known to collapse, so that's what they thought was happening.

Hopefully someone will have advice to offer.
