Archie's grooming experience was a nightmare--for both of us!! I took him to the groomer down the street and she told me to leave him there for an hour or so and she'll call me when they're done. I didn't want to leave him because he has never been away from me with someone else for that long. But I did because she told me that I wasn't allowed to stay or Archie would not be "good." When I came back, Archie's hair was all really really short and he had bangs. And he was in a cage!! Archie has never been locked in anywhere before and he was in the corner shaking. As soon as I came in and the groomer opened the door, he ran up to me, and I had to walk down Queens Blvd. with Archie's arms around my neck, and he was shaking so much. Oh it was traumatizing! And he looked like such a freak, like he had crazy eyebrows and was evil. I vowed NEVER to take him to a groomer again. |
