One of my stud's Sire & Dam were very standard size (6-7 pounds) and from a very standard sized pedigree.....I fought to get him to 4 pounds (he's very fine boned). When I took him into the ring at age 2 he was just under 5 pounds.....He's 4 now and 6 pounds 2 oz. Some just take longer to mature out. Actually he'll be 4 in May
