First of all, CONGRATS!!!
Before I got Sammie (who's 13 weeks)....I got:
- Puppy pads (started training him right away at 9 weeks and he is completely potty trained now indoors (it's cold in Philly so we have him "litter box" trained inside)
- Stuffed animals
- a clock that ticks (I know this sounds bizzare but it helps with the separation anxiety because it sounds like a heartbeat and your puppy will think it's siblings are near)
- Nutrical or honey nut cheerios or maple syrup (they have hypoglycemia at this age so you need to make sure their blood sugar is up)
- Have something that smells like you in his bed like your pillow case, socks, etc. (if he's sleeping separately)
HAVE FUN!! you are going to love your new yorkie...they are the greatest, sweetest lil dogs ever and they will do anything to please you
