Thanks to you all.!no one slept much last nite. Ralphie was in some pain, and did get medication at 2:30 am. Today, although he is alert-- he is not moving around very much. Has not pooped..but did pee ok. Appitite and drinking water.
The collar will not work , as he was struggling so much, I was afraid he would hurt himself. So.. for the next 3-4 days-I will be right by him, so he does not lick his stiches.
He had a very large hernia, and the site of the incision looks red, but I think that is normal. I will take the little guy to the vet on Sat to check if he is ok. He is such a little guy..this is really scary for me..!
