Much easier with a Whal Peanut, it's small and safe. If you crook your index finger behind the ear or in front (the finger acts as a brace to hold that ear riggid, allowing you to get a nice clean cut), depending on which side you're on, close to the edge you can usually run the trimmer to the edge and get a very sharp clean cut. Never have to use scissors and risk the possibility of knicks.
